Hi, I'm Matt. I am eager to support organisations and individuals on their digital journeys. While leveraging technical capabilities and busness opportunities combined with my entrepreneurial drive, I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders in dynamic environments. Moreover, as a Full Stack Developer, Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer I also enjoy designing, building and managing digital products and services hands-on.
I have an international background, cross-cultural understanding and global mindset resulting from both educational and professional experiences in several countries across Europe, North America and Asia. Professionally, I am experienced as ManagingConsultant, Entrepreneur, Operations, Project and Product Manager, as well as trainer for IT/Digital solutions. In this regard, I have domain expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Application Performance Management (APM), Continuous Delivery and Quality Assurance, IT Operations and End-to-end Monitoring across different industries.
In 2020, I first took some time to expand my technical expertise in Software Engineering, Full Stack Web Development, Data Science and Machine Learning. I then leveraged my newly acquired knowledge to build a new consulting venture.
I completed the Le Wagon coding bootcamp in China (Shenzhen, Batch #410 - June 2020) to add technical skills in frontend and backend development to my profile (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, Ruby on Rails, SQL, etc.). During the bootcamp I invented, designed, coded, deployed and publicly pitched a team project, as well as personal web apps and a WeChat Mini Program incl. Rails API. In addition to the bootcamp, I took more Software Engineering courses online, built a recommendation system in Java and I further enhanced my skills in Javascript for both Frontend (React) and Backend (Node/Express) as well as NoSQL/MongoDB. Furthermore, I did a practical training including project work in Data Science and Machine Learning learning Python, Deep Learning, regression, classification, neural networks, model evaluation and analysis, and serving a Tensorflow model through a website.
As Managing Consultant and Co-Founder of Machine Learning Architects Basel, a visionary consulting company from Switzerland, my latest mission is to assist and empower people and organisations in designing, building and enabling their "Digital Highway" for effective Machine Learning development and operations (MLOps).
